Meet Your Friendly, Neighborhood Social Media Manager.
Hi, I'm Megan.
I've worked in marketing since 2016 (but that’s not the most interesting thing about me). I’m originally from the north Atlanta suburbs, and now I live in the city with my husband, toddler, and our perfect angel pup, Stevie. You’ll usually find me with a cold brew coffee in hand, on walks around my neighborhood, blabbing to anyone who will listen about my new favorite restaurant or whatever podcast I’m obsessing over at the moment (or, let’s be honest, reality TV).
My marketing career started as a scrappy college student, offering social media management to small businesses on Georgia Tech’s campus (Go, Jackets!). And, to think, I had no idea I would become an entrepreneur… I spent the next several years working in-house for global brands like Sharpie, Mr. Coffee, and Coca-Cola, before leaving corporate to become a freelance marketer in 2021.
During my freelance career, I helped clients manage social media accounts, increase website traffic through blogging, write copy, design digital products, and more. I had an incredible time working with large startups and solo-preneurs alike.
The idea for Good Neighbors Marketing Co. came to me after giving birth to my daughter in 2024. Slowing down gave me space to decide what I really wanted my career to look like.
I kept landing on two things:
My heart has always been with people building something of their own. I just love working with service providers and creatives. (And, as both a creative and service provider myself, we seem to just get each other).
The second? I truly believe the best version of every business is on the other side of mastering social media. I’ve seen social media change lives, explode businesses, and help people feel beyond proud of what they’re building.
But, I know how busy life as a business owner can get. And it doesn’t help when TikTok and Instagram are constantly screaming at you to follow new trends, use new hooks, or add a certain sound to your video (you won’t find any of those guilt trips here, btw).
So that’s what I’m here to do: take social media (and the pressure) off your plate.
Think of me as a reliable resource for Atlanta-based service providers and creatives who need consistent, strategic social media backing their business.
